On May 8 (Tokyo) and May 10 (Kyoto), the Traditional Crafts Support Program & DENTO Awards Press Conference was held.
The event began with an introduction to the purpose and overview of the program by Mineaki Saito (former Vice-President of Hermes Paris headquarters and Representative of Scenery International). Next, Avi Lugasi (Representative of Windows to Japan Ltd,) gave a lecture on the theme, “Why are Japanese traditional crafts attractive to foreigners?” Finally, Kotaro Nishibori (representative of Hiyoshiya Co., Ltd./TCI Institute Co.,Ltd.) provided information about each support program. After the press conference, a networking event was held.
